Saltfeend

  About Saltfeend:

Saltfeend, a long time Portland DJ, has spent many a year behind the decks of Portland's night clubs. Entering the club scene in early 1998, saltfeend gained his first residency @ the famed '1201' club. For many nights, saltfeend honed his skills while playing 4-5 hr marathon downbeat and dub sets. Fueled by tequila, and American Spirits , saltfeend spearheaded his trademark cut-n-paste lounge-core sound. This led to residencies @ other local PDX nightspots. Originally interested only in the hard techno sound, saltfeend was booked to play more and more downbeat sets. Fast forward to today. Umpteen clubs later... saltfeend now holds a monthly residency @ the Lowbrow Lounge in NW Portland. Due to some stellar dubstep nights in PDX, saltfeend 'officially' caught the 'dubstep-bug' in mid 2008 @ the monthly 'Various'. Dubstep on a propa system. Who could not get hooked? [PDX Presha-drop] IS broadcasting on Sundays on Dubterrain.net 4-5 pm PST 0:00 -1:00 GMT.... Listen to how it's done PDX stylee!!!! email: saltfeend@gmail.com / twitter.com/saltfeend
